About Dr. Richa Kapoor Miglani
Periodontist, Laser & Implant Specialist, Educator, Mentor and the person behind Adorn Dentistry
With over 15 years of clinical experience in Mumbai, Dr. Richa Kapoor Miglani has built her practice around a simple belief - dentistry should be clinically excellent, personalised and comfortable enough for patients to trust their dentist completely.
She is a specialist in Periodontology, with her core areas of expertise being gum surgeries, periodontal aesthetics, dental lasers and implant dentistry. She completed her Master’s in Periodontology & Implantology from Saveetha University, Chennai, in 2012, following her dental education in Mumbai. She has also completed a Fellowship in Laser Dentistry from (Università di Genova) Italy.
As the founder and chief dentist of Adorn Dentistry, Mumbai, Dr. Richa brings specialist expertise together with comprehensive dental care. While periodontal surgery, lasers and implants remain her areas of specialisation, Adorn Dentistry offers a complete range of general and specialised dental treatments for patients of all age groups.
And beyond all these titles, she is a mom to Sannvi; her little lucky charm and her favourite reason to keep dreaming bigger.
Beyond the Clinic
For Dr. Richa, dentistry has never been limited to treating patients.
For over a decade, she has been actively involved in training and mentoring dentists, with a strong focus on practical, hands-on clinical dentistry.
She is a mentor at PerioEsthetix, a hands-on periodontal training program where dentists learn to approach and perform periodontal surgical procedures with greater confidence and clinical understanding.
Her teaching journey has taken her across India and internationally, training dentists from Mumbai, Nepal, Bangladesh, Singapore, Malaysia, the UK and Dubai.
She also conducts specialised over-the-shoulder mentoring, working one-on-one with dentists during their own clinical cases. This allows dentists to receive personalised guidance while performing periodontal and laser procedures from case assessment and treatment planning through to the surgical procedure itself.
Her approach to teaching is simple:

A Passion for Laser Dentistry
Dr. Richa has developed a particular interest in integrating dental lasers into periodontal and soft-tissue procedures.
She has served as a Key Opinion Leader for a leading dental laser company in India, and continues to educate dentists on the practical application of laser technology in everyday clinical practice.

Her work in clinical dentistry has been recognised through several professional honours, including:
- FAMDENT Excellence in Dentistry Award – Specialist of the Year
- Indian Dental Association Charaka Award – Periodontist of the Year
- IHP Award – Periodontist of the Year
She is also the Founder Director of the Indian Dental Diva Awards, an initiative created to recognise and celebrate the achievements of women in dentistry.
